Does checking my rate hurt my credit?
No. Acorn does a soft credit pull to show you your offers. A soft pull doesn't affect your credit score. Only when you accept an offer and sign with the lender does a hard pull happen.
What credit score do I need?
Acorn works with multiple lenders that serve a range of credit profiles. There's no minimum to check your rate. The actual offers you'll see depend on your credit, the loan amount, and the term.
Can I still get rebates if I finance?
Yes. Rebates apply against the total project cost regardless of how you pay. The financing amount is the net cost after rebates.
Who do I make payments to?
The lender, not Hot Swap. After the install, the lender pays us in full and you make monthly payments to them.
Are there prepayment penalties?
Most Acorn lender offers don't have prepayment penalties, but it varies by lender. The terms of any specific offer will be clearly shown before you accept.
What if I have credit issues?
Acorn's network includes lenders that work with a range of credit profiles. The only way to know what's available for you is to check your rate. It takes a minute and won't affect your score.
Can financing be combined with a deposit?
